Even the trout hang out at Thredbo Village

The Thredbo River is an excellent stream to  fish for trout.  The river offers a wide range of terrain from the high country  meadows around Dead Horse Gap to the exciting gorge fishing just below Thredbo village to  the big pool fishing around Ski Tube and lower down.  There are also some great spots to fish right in Thredbo Village, so the  fishing is literally on your door step. 
There are expert guides in the Village who  can take you for morning or afternoon trips in search of a big brown trout and fill you in  on the skills you need to fly fish successfully. 

 Fish the Snowy Scheme lakes
