The Lantern Apartments relies heavily on the income from the peak periods like Winter, Easter and the Christmas Holidays. These peak occupancy periods account for 85% of the annual income. Bookings come in early for these busy periods. Once we reserve a room for a customer we are no longer able to take bookings for that room over that period. If that customer then cancels a short time before they are due to stay, there is a real risk that we will not be able to re sell the room. In this case certain income for the apartment owner would be lost.

For this reason we have a cancellations policy for all bookings over these periods. While the conditions of this policy are strict, we offer inexpensive travel insurance that can effectively cover the loss of a deposit in the events of unforseen circumstances.

Advance Booking Specials, Super Savers and Lift Pass Packages.

Deposit payment of 50% required within 10 days of making the reservation or full payment if within 30 days or arrival. 
Final payment for snow season bookings due 30 days prior to the arrival date.
Final payment for summer season bookings is due on arrival.
No refund for Advance Booking Special, Super Saver and package winter bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival. Otherwise a 10% cancellation fee applies
No Refund for Advance Booking Special summer bookings and packages cancelled within 14 days of arrival. Otherwise a 10% cancellation fee applies

Children Ski and Stay Free Offer
Minimum stay conditions and set arrival days may apply. Under this offer children must be under 15 years of age.

Booking & Cancellation Conditions the same as set out above for Advance booking Specials. of 50% required within 10 days of making the reservation. 
For Every paying Adult with lift pass 1 child can stay and have a free lift pass. For every paying adult with equipment hire, one child can hire similar equipment at no extra charge.
Based on 2 Adults paying twin share in a 1 bedroom standard apartment. Up to 2 Children can stay at no extra charge.
Lesson package include group lessons only. A surcharge will apply for Thredboland or private lessons.
Children under 7 cannot participate in group lessons.

All package bookings are made subject to the availability of the package items including, restaurants, hire equipment and lift passes. Some package items may be affected by weather and refunds for those itmes will be at the discretion of the tour operator or product provider. Prices are correct at the time of creating the package but are subject to change without notice.

Minimum Stay Restrictions.

December 26th - January 1st. Minimum Stay 3 nights on all apartments unless a gap is available to fill.
Easter Weekend. 3 night minimum stay on all apartments unless a gap is available to fill. 
Tourist Season. 1 night stays available on 1 bedroom and 1 bedroom plus loft apartments. 2 night minimum stay on larger apartments.
Winter Season Standard. Traditional arrival days are Friday and Sunday. 2 night stays from Friday, 5 night stays from Sunday or 7 nights from Friday or Sunday. Unless a gap is available to fill.
Winter Special Weeks Special 3 night packages will be advertised in selected weeks for arrival on Sunday Monday or Tuesday and where gaps are available to fill.
